do you ship, where do you ship?

Everything is shipped with USPS, UPS or Fedex depending on the weight of your purchase. If you would like to request another delivery method please contact us before your purchase so we properly take care of your order.

We ship anywhere in the United States, all packages are shipped from Southeast Louisiana.

*** Upon the rise of shipping delays due to COVID-19 and the holiday season, please allow enough time if your item is a gift.

DO YOU OFFER LOCAL PICKUP / CURBSIDE?

YES! We offer local pickup at the shop during open store hours. Our address for pickup in 700 W 3rd Street, Thibodaux, LA 70301. If you need to make special arrangements for pickup please send us a message. This information will also be sent in an email once you place an order and select PICKUP.

what is the Processing time for handmade or custom built items?

This timeframe varies depending on the item you are requesting. Original and fully custom pieces can take anywhere from 7-10 business days or longer depending on the materials needed. Please allow time for the production of custom handcrafted items to order. These items include wood crafted items such as charcuterie boards, serving boards, chopping boards and other large wooden items from our store.

PLEASE NOTE: As the busy holiday season approaches in the months of November and December, I can not guarantee completion dates once the cut off date for custom orders has been posted. This is typically 10-15 days prior to December 24th of each year.

Same day engraving, RUSH FEEs:

I do accept same day engraving orders depending on the current workload that day. You will need to contact me directly to get an accurate timeline for your item or engraving schedule. A rush fee can be added to your order If there is current production in place and you would like to have your item engraved for a certain deadline. Again, this is based on workload and schedules so please contact me directly to find out if this is doable. Text or call the shop.

how do I care for my board?

Gently wipe down with soap and water after use. Dry immediately. Do not immerse in water. Do not place any board or wooden item in a dishwasher. Once your board is dry from hand washing, then you can reapply food grade mineral oil or board butter to seal the wood. Only seal it as needed. Following these directions will help preserve the life of your item.

WHAT ARE YOUR BOARDS SEALED WITH?

All of our boards are cleaned and treated to remove any moisture then sealed with non-toxic food grade mineral oil or board butter. Other specialty items will be labeled in the description of the item. Special request are always welcome.

do you accept Custom orders?

YES! We do accept custom orders for our charcuterie boards, serving boards, chopping blocks, custom maps, pieces of artwork or any item on the site. You can choose your type of wood, the design and even have it engraved if you choose. You will be assigned a designer to work with on your custom order. If you would like to fill our an order form, you can do so here.
 

what types of wood we use?

All wood that we use to make the boards will be stated in each item description. We have a variation of old cypress, oak, hickory, pine, walnut, maple and beechwood to name a few. Wood chosen for our wall pieces or art vary and will be listed in the item description. Some items will be a one of a kind and labeled accordingly.

returns or repairs?

All items are final sale. We do not offer returns for wooden items as these items are porous. However, in the event you need a repair to your purchase, we will work with you to resolve that issue. Email us!
